National Board of Directors Election
Vote by March 17, 2014

Candidates have been finalized for the ACMA National Board of Directors election, and it is now time to cast your vote for the individuals who will lead your association.

This year ACMA members will elect four board positions:
  • President-elect (social worker)
  • Board Member-at-Large (nurse)
  • Board Member-at-Large (nurse)
  • Board Member-at-Large (social worker)

An email with instructions on how to vote has been sent to each member. Ballots must be submitted by 5:00 pm Central on Monday, March 17, 2014.

CMS to Suspend RAC Requests
 
Until new Recovery Audit Contractor (RAC) contracts are procured, the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) announced that additional documentation requests (ADRs) will be suspended. The ADR pause began at the close of business hours last Friday, and CMS will not accept ADRs after this Friday.

CMS initiated the pause to allow RACs to complete any outstanding claim reviews and other processes by the end of their current contracts. CMS also intends to use this time to refine the Recovery Audit Program - read more...
